Mumbai cricketer Suryakumar Yadav, who made an immediate impact after making his India debut against England, will be a player to watch out for in the series. Former India batsman and renowned cricket pundit Sanjay Manjrekar is of the opinion that Suryakumar Yadav could fit the number 3 role for India in the T20 World Cup, given his attacking style of batting.

Manjrekar ने कहा, 'मुझे नहीं पता कि KL Rahul को लेकर उनकी साथ क्या योजना है, निश्चित रूप से Suryakumar Yadavजैसे किसी बल्लेबाज की टीम में जगह बनती है. मैंने आईपीएल में पूरे सत्र में शायद ही कभी किसी को इतने प्रभावशाली तरीके से बल्लेबाजी करते देखा हो.'
