India is facing a major price hike of petrol-diesel these days. Petrol is now retailing above Rs 100 per liter in all major cities including Delhi. The prices are increasing consistently. From June 1 till now, petrol has become costlier 21 times while diesel has become costlier 19 times. In some cities, the rate of petrol is 106-7 while in other the petrol is being sold at Rs 111. People are expressing their displeasure over consistent price hikes. At present, there is no sign of relief.
