NSW has recorded 44 new locally acquired COVID cases. 29 spent time in the community while infectious and nine are under investigation. NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian says her state is facing its biggest challenge in the pandemic and several new restrictions will be introduced across Greater Sydney this afternoon.
