In its first meeting on Thursday, the new Union Cabinet approved a Rs 23,123-crore package to boost emergency health infrastructure in the country to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic following the second wave of infections. Briefing the media about the Cabinet decisions, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said the Cabinet has approved a package worth Rs 23,123 crore to help the states improve their emergency health infrastructure.
