Mydin stores nationwide may have had their fair share of shoplifting and theft cases over the years, but what they are seeing during the Covid-19 pandemic have been heartbreaking.

Mydin Mohamed Holdings managing director Ameer Ali Mydin revealed that while the number of thefts have risen during the pandemic, people are no longer stealing high-value items, instead people have resorted to stealing fish and vegetables.
