President Donald Trump made sure he touched upon aspects of India that are loved by its countrymen to receive thunderous applause during his elaborate speech at the Motera Stadium, Ahmedabad on Monday.

From quoting Swami Vivekananda to calling 'Bollywood' the hub of creativity, President Trump heaped rich praise on India and drew parallels between the two biggest democracies in the globe.

Notably, Donald Trump also mentioned India's batting greats Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli and said the country cheers for 'some of the world's greatest cricket players'.

"This is the country where the people cheer on some of the world's greatest cricket players from Sachin Tendulkar to Virat Kohli, said Donald Trump in his speech.
