Woman fined after escaping hotel quarantine in Cairns

A woman has been hit with a two-and-a-half-thousand dollar fine after scaling balconies to escape hotel quarantine in Cairns. Police found the 22-year-old at her mother’s house but say there’s no heightened health risk to the community.
