President Rodrigo Roa Duterte convenes several Cabinet members to discuss the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) situation in the country and other matters of national concern.
The President sends his condolences to the families of the soldiers and civilians who perished in a C-130 plane crash in Sulu on 4 July 2021, saying that the Filipino nation recognizes and shall always remember their deep devotion to duty. He emphasizes that the surviving passengers are given immediate medical attention and treatment, and expresses gratitude to the civilians of Sulu who rendered their assistance in rescuing the passengers of the ill-fated event.

On reports regarding the illegal sale of COVID-19 vaccines, the Chief Executive orders the concerned authorities to investigate the matter and press charges accordingly. He reminds his ‘kababayans’ that the COVID-19 vaccines given by the government are not for sale and are being administered to the people for free.

President Duterte conveys his gratitude to the Filipino people for their continued cooperation, as the country remains steadfast in overcoming the challenges brought by the pandemic.
