Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma on July 4 attended 'ALAAP- ALOCHANA: Empowering the Religious Minorities,' an interactive session with intellectuals and religious minorities. Around 150 intellectuals and leaders of the Muslim community attended the meeting to discuss the population policy issue in the state. The meeting was held at Assam Administrative Staff College in Guwahati.
