J&K Police organised recruitment rally for its border battalion in Baramulla of north Kashmir on June 03. Hundreds of candidates from border areas took part in the recruitment drive. Candidates appeared in the physical test to get placed in the police force. There are 1,350 posts, 675 for each border battalion. The centre has announced 2 border battalions each for the regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
