On the occasion of National Doctors Day Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh, Regional Director, WHO South-East Asia Region expressed her concern over the current scenario as well as loss of health workers due to Covid-19.While addressing media she said, “We've lost many healthcare workers to pandemic. On Doctors' Day, WHO salutes these bravehearts, their families and frontline Workers. WHO will continue to work with countries to invest in health workforce strengthening.” She expressed her gratitude to frontline workers who worked continuously for 18 months to fight against Covid-19.
