Like other countries around Mediterranean Sea, Turkey hopes to revive its tourism industry. Tourism revenues collapsed last year as the pandemic hit. The country's tourism industry simply can't afford another lost season. But prime markets like the UK, Germany and Russia still don't list Turkey as a safe destination.
