The 'delta plus' variant has been found to be more associated with lung tissue than other variants of the corona virus, but this does not mean that it will cause serious disease or it is more contagious. The head of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization, COVID-19 Working Group (NTAGI), Dr. N.K. Arora has given this information. The new variant of the corona virus Delta Plus was identified on 11 June. Recently it has been classified as a concern variant.
