Blazing crumb rubber pile in Teluk Panglima Garang expected to burn for two days

A pile of crumb rubber which caught fire on Saturday (June 26) in Jalan Pulau Carey, Teluk Panglima Garang in Selangor was still belching plumes of black smoke despite efforts from firefighters who have been stationed at the scene for the last 24 hours.
Base from previous experience with rubber fires, Teluk Panglima Garang assistant fire superintendent Mohd Azril Abd Kadir on Sunday said the blaze may take two to three more days for it to be fully extinguished.
