Kangana Ranaut Starts Preparing For Role Of Indira Gandhi
Kangana Ranaut has kick-started preparing for the forthcoming biopic "Indira", based on former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, the film will be helmed by Sai Kabir.
Kangana just took to social media and dropped a couple of stills where she is seen getting the prosthetic work done for the role.
She wrote:
“Every character is a beautiful beginning of a new journey, today we started journey of #Emergency #Indira with body, face scans and casts to get the look right. Many amazing artists get together to bring one’s vision alive on screen…. This one will be (a) very special Manikarnika Film”
Ranaut will play former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film which is being produced by her home banner Manikarnika Films.
The official handle of Manikarnika Films dropped a video, where Kangana is getting the photo-shoot done for the role.
Their post said:
“Queen ready to transform as Madam Prime Minister #Emergency #Indira Kangana Ranaut”
Kangana's film "Thalaivi", which is based on the life of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is yet to be released.
She is also shooting for "Dhaakad" and "Tejas". In "Dhaakad" she plays a female assassin while in "Tejas" she will be seen playing the role of a pilot.
