The vaccination rollout for teachers kicked off today. There are about 62 vaccination sites in Gauteng. Currently the province has over 7,400 new infections in the past 24 hours. Gauteng education MEC Panyaza Lesufi was one of the first to receive his jab at the Rabasotho Community Hall in Tembisa this morning. Meanwhile, the Western Cape has only received part of its vaccine batch. That means its teacher vaccination drive can't go ahead full-steam today.
