This is a scene from a training session at Shinyurigaoka branch.
There were two main points of instruction this time.
The first is that there is such a thing as "hoben" in martial arts.
The temporary means to lead people to the true teachings
is called Hoben in Japanese(and Buddhism).
The other is that it is important to be clear about the means and the end.
But often the means is becoming the purpose.

Tenshin-ryū hyou-hō is a Japanese Traditional Martial Arts which was created by Master Tokizawa Yahei about 400 years ago.
Tenshinryu derived from the corps of shadow to protect the Tokugawa shogunate which is called “Shilin Dan (the population of samurai)”.
They served Munenori Yagyu. Munenori Yagyu has devised a lot of “Kata (techniques)”.
Tenshinryu originated from “Shinkage ryu ”. Yahei integrated the techniques of Shinkage ryu and techniques created by Munenori into Tenshinryu. Tenshinryu is handed down as a sword of samurai to serve to the castle which was called “Joshi no Ken”.
