Jyeshtha Purnima Tithi is on 24th June. This date is called Jeth Purnima or Jeth Poornima. Purnima Tithi has special significance in Hinduism. On this day, there is a belief of bathing in the holy river or water tank, fasting and doing charity work. On this day, people get auspicious results by taking bath, fasting and doing charity and charity work. This day is Vat Purnima Vrat and Kabirdas Jayanti will also be celebrated. This date is the last date of Jyeshtha month. After this the month of Ashadha begins.

ज्येष्ठ पूर्णिमा तिथि 24 जून को है। इस तिथि को जेठ पूर्णिमा या जेठ पूर्णमासी कहा जाता है। हिन्दू धर्म में पूर्णिमा तिथि का विशेष महत्व है। इस दिन पवित्र नदी अथवा जलकुंड में स्नान, व्रत एवं दान-पुण्य के काम करने की मान्यता है। इस दिन स्नान, व्रत एव दान-पुण्य के कार्य करने से जातकों को शुभ फल प्राप्त होते हैं। इस दिन वट पूर्णिमा व्रत है और कबीरदास जयंती भी मनाई जाएगी। यह तिथि ज्येष्ठ माह की अंतिम तिथि होती है। इसके बाद आषाढ़ माह प्रारंभ हो जाता है।
