Primary school student in Sydney’s east tests positive for COVID-19

A new case of COVID-19 has emerged in a year-three student at a primary school in the Sydney suburb of Waverley. Dr Asha Bowen is an infectious diseases expert at Telethon Kids Institute, and a clinician at Perth Children’s Hospital, says children are less likely to get as sick with the virus as adults.
