Mumbai Congress president Bhai Jagtap on June 20 informed that Congress will contest elections on all 227 seats of BMC alone. He said, “From day one of assuming charge as Mumbai Congress chief, I've been saying that Congress will contest all 227 seats (of BMC) alone. This will not be the first time. Between 1999 and 2014, we shared power with NCP, Samajwadi Party and RPI but fought BMC polls separately and accept 2012 we tried but that won’t work for us”.
