For most people, using explosives is far from a normal day in the office … unless you happen to be an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician. Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron

EOD technicians work by supporting the installation and surrounding communities by locating, accessing, identifying, rendering safe, neutralizing and disposing of hazards, chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear (CBRNE) and high-yield explosive, unexploded explosive ordnance, improvised explosive device, and weapons of mass destruction (WMD) that present a threat to operations, installations, personnel or material.

MCAS Cherry Point’s EOD is recruiting #USMarines for the EOD technician #military occupational specialty. Lateral-move screenings will be held in Building 1795, June 14-17. Interested #Marines can contact EOD at (252) 466-3432/2901.
