Belgian and Danish football fans watching their national teams play each other in Euro 2020, shared their delight and misery as Belgium beat Denmark 2-1 on Thursday.

The Danish fans naturally felt disappointed that their side lost, particularly as it would have been a great boost after midfielder Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest in their previous match.

Eriksen had to be resuscitated with a defibrillator and is still recovering in the hospital.

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne scored the winner after Belgium had recovered from an early Danish goal.

Both teams still have one more game to play before the group stages of the European Football Championship are decided.
