Education Stakeholders In Kisumu And Busia Have Raised Concerns Over The Merging Of Vocational Training Institutions Fund With The Equitable Share Of Revenue. The Stakeholders Maintain That This Move Could Hamper Activities At The Institution Given That Some County Heads Could Forget Allocating The 2 Billion From The Treasury To The Said Institutions. Meanwhile The Counties Are Preparing The Tvet Institutions With Over Thousands Of Student Expected To Join Technical And Tvet Institutions Next Month After The 2020 Kcse Exams. Technical And Tvet Institutions Have Vacancies For 331,045 New Students, While Public And Private Universities Have 160,160 Spaces For Government-Sponsored Students. Only 143,140 Candidates Who Scored A Mean Grade Of C+ And Above Will Join Universities And Tvet Institutions.
