Corn (Maize)
Maize is being grown on an area of 1.016 million hectares with an annual production of 3.037 million tons and an average grain yield of 2,864 kg/ha Maize production in Pakistan has increased from 0.38 million tons during 1947-50 to 3.037 million tons in 2007.
In Pakistan, maize crop is sown mainly in two seasons; spring and the autumn season. Spring maize can be planted in the first week of February up to first week of March while the sowing time for autumn maize starts from the last week of July and ends in mid of August. Seed rate for maize is 20-25 kg per hectare.

Soya bean
Soybean or soya bean may be a species of legume native to East Asia. Soya bean contains multiple vitamins as Phytic acid, dietary minerals, and B vitamins. Soybeans are about 18% oil and 38% protein. Because soybeans are high in protein, they're a serious ingredient in livestock feed.
