Odisha witnessed a marginal drop in new positive cases as daily infections dropped to below 10,000 after five days. As many as 9793 fresh Covid-19 cases were detected in the last 24 hours. The disease also claimed 18 lives during the period. Odisha's TPR at 21 per cent is a major cause of concern.
