2 School Kids In Odisha Injured In Mobile Phone Battery Blast | OTV News

In a disconcerting incident, two minor boys were critically injured after a mobile phone battery exploded while they were playing with it. The incident was reported from Haripur-Nuasahi area under Badagada Police limits of Ganjam district on Thursday (January 28).
The injured kids have been identified as Raja and Subham, both Class VI students.
The duo had found the mobile phone battery lying on the road while returning from their tuition classes. They connected wires to the battery and started playing with it following which the battery exploded.
Both the kids were rushed to a healthcare center in Dharakot. However, Raja was later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur after his condition deteriorated.
