India's nearly every state witnesses caste-based politics. Caste plays an important role in every election. It has not been new, it is decade-old tactics to lure voters. 11 to 14 Percent vote bank constitutes of Brahmin in Uttar Pradesh. In UP, out of 21 CM, six were Brahmins.
