No mutated strain of COVID-19 is present among the UK returnees in Odisha. As per information from the Odisha government officials, no new strain of virus has been identified among the samples of UK returnees sent for genome sequencing.

At least 204 people including UK-returnees & their contacts have been tested till now out of which just 7 people have tested positive for COVID-19. According to Director Public Health, Niranjan Mishra no mutated strain has been identified so far.
