People from outside Odisha have been asking questions. Even I have come to hear about this. They have questioned if Lord Jagannath belongs to just the servitors of the temple and residents of Puri. They have claimed that this is unfair. God belongs to everyone. Without devotees, God is incomplete and without deities the devotees are incomplete as well. The almighty has his eyes on us. He too is waiting to see his devotees since it is well known that Lord Jagannath loves his devotees. It has been a long time since the Lord has been without his devotees. If we have to experience God, then we can find Him everywhere. It is wrong to believe that we can get closer to the almighty only by entering the temple and having a darshan of the Lord on the Ratna Singhasan. Whenever we think of the Lord, we can experience his divine presence.
