The sale of fake and poor quality helmets without the ISI mark has been banned in India from June 1. If you go out wearing a helmet without BIS certification, you can be challaned. Buying or selling such helmets can also result in both fine and punishment. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways had issued the notification of 'Helmets Order for Two Wheeler Motor Vehicle Riders, 2020' on November 26, 2020, which has come into effect from June 1.


भारत में बिना ISI मार्क (ISI Mark Helmet ) वाले नकली और खराब क्वालिटी के हेलमेट की बिक्री को 1 जून से बैन कर दिया गया है। अगर आप बिना बीआईएस सर्टिफिकेशन (BIS) वाला हेलमेट पहनकर निकलते हैं तो आपका चालान हो सकता है. ऐसे हेलमेट खरीदने या बेचने पर भी जुर्माना और सजा दोनों हो सकती है. सड़क परिवहन एंव राजमार्ग मंत्रालय (Road Transport and Highway Ministry) ने 26 नवंबर, 2020 को 'दोपहिया मोटर वाहन सवारों के लिए हेलमेट आदेश, 2020' की अधिसूचना जारी की थी, जो एक जून से प्रभावी हो गई है
