Delhi AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria on June 8 said that there is no evidence or data (globally or Indian) showed that the third wave of Covid-19 will have a serious effect on children. “No data, global or Indian, has had any observations of children being affected more. Even in the 2nd wave kids who were infected had mild illness or co-morbidities. I don't think we will have a serious infection in children in the future,” Guleria said during a press conference in Delhi.
