Renowned Virologist Jerome E. Kim Wants India and China to Ally Together to Fight COVID

In an interview to Shyam Bhatia, Jerome E. Kim, director general of the Seoul-based International Vaccine Institute, says India should ask the Chinese government to supply its surplus vaccines to help tide over its national shortage. There is a precedent from the Cold War of geopolitical rivals – the United States and Soviet Union – working together to fight against smallpox and polio.
