Clarificatory test: The tests described in this video are antibody-based tests, which find out if the coronavirus could be present in blood in less time than an RT-PCR test. However, they don't replace RT-PCR tests because RT-PCR is more reliable and currently the sole approved technique for diagnostics. Instead, antibody-based tests are useful for research.
