Jayakumar tells The Wire that in the backdrop of global market slowdown along with a global pandemic and rising oil prices, the Indian economy doesn't have enough shock absorbers which is adding to the trouble in the markets. He says that India's central bank must step in quickly with regulatory or policy interventions.
