124-year-old woman takes her first Covid-19 vaccine dose in J&K's Baramulla

A 124-year-old woman in Baramulla was administered her first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine during a door-to-door vaccination campaign by Jammu & Kashmir government. Rehtee Begum, resident of Shrakwara Block Wagoora Baramulla is now in a healthy condition. While talking to ANI, Medical officer, PHC Shrakwara Dr Tajamul Malik said, “Yesterday, our team went for door-to-door vaccination and we vaccinated a 124-year-old woman. The woman is in healthy condition. We will be sending our medical team today as well to check on her health. I appeal people to go and get their jab as it is the need of the hour. If we want to protect ourselves from this deadly disease, we need to vaccinate ourselves.”
