34 years later justice still eludes most of the victims as only a handful of people have been convicted for the pogrom – jan sanghar – or massacre. As many as 10 Commissions and Committees starting with Marwah Commission and ending with Nanavati Commission were constituted to look into the 1984 cases.

Senior advocate H.S. Phoolka who himself survived that massacre along with his wife and later began fighting for securing justice for the victims, is speaking to Gaurav Vivek Bhatnagar about the case.
