A municipal councilor of Bhartiya Janta Party, Rakesh Pandita, was shot by militants in the Tral belt of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday evening. Pandita succumbed to injuries in the hospital. The leader was visiting his friend at Tral Payeen. Last year, Congress sarpanch Ajay Pandita was killed in Anantnag and now Rakesh Pandita, chairman of Tral's municipal corporation, has been attacked by terrorists. Now the question is arising that why did Rakesh Pandita go to Tral, the stronghold of terrorists without security? Watch this video.
