China says the Uyghur Tribunal, an independent tribunal in the UK aiming to investigate the alleged genocide and human right abuse of the Chinese government against the Uyghur population, is "neither legal nor credible". The tribunal will hold its first set of public hearings on Friday where it says witnesses will present live evidence during the hearings.
