Police says it'll accept all travel permission letters as MOH reports 8,209 new cases

Police will now accept all travel permission letters issued by agencies other than the International Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti), according to Bukit Aman.

In a short video clip, federal police Internal Security and Public Order Department officer MV Srikumar M Nair said he has informed all police officers in charge of roadblocks nationwide of the latest order.

He said the latest instruction came from the inspector-general of police (IGP).

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry reported 8,209 new Covid-19 cases today.

There were also 103 deaths, the second day in a row that fatalities have been in triple digits.
