Before the start of the remaining matches of the IPL, the BCCI has received a setback from two foreign boards. The England and Wales Cricket Board had said that their players would not play in the second phase of the IPL. Now Bangladesh Cricket Board has also said that their players will not be a part of IPL. On the other hand, Australian players have to play 3 to 4 series before the T20 World Cup, due to which it is difficult for its players to go to UAE. 12 players from England while 18 players from Australia were playing in IPL 2021.

England, Australia और New Zealand की टीमें प्रमुख है. जिनके खिलाड़ी अपने देश के साथ रहेंगे और कहीं और किसी टीम के साथ बाईलैटरल सीरिज उस वक्त खेल रहे होंगे. England की तरफ से पहले ही बयान आ चुका है कि वो अपने खिलाड़ियों को 2021 T20I World Cup से पहले आराम देंगे. बांग्लादेश दौरे पर युवा खिलाड़ी को भेजेंगे. लेकिन, इसका मतलब ये नहीं कि इंग्लिश खिलाड़ी जाकर IPL खेलने लगे.
