A meeting was held among Congress leaders in the national capital on June 01. Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu attended the meeting. He said, “I came here to present voices of people of Punjab from grass root level to High Command. My stand on democratic power remains the same. The power of the people must return to the people. I have clearly stated the truth. We need to defeat everyone who is against Punjab.”
