'Tina': New documentary explores successes and struggles of global superstar

A new documentary shines a spotlight on Tina Turner's ascent to stardom, as well as her abusive relationship with Ike Turner. It mixes intimate interviews with the now 81-year-old singer-songwriter and those close to her, as well as rare archival footage. FRANCE 24's Jennifer Ben Brahim spoke to the directors of the documentary to find out more.
We also take a look at Sir Paul McCartney's latest project with producer Rick Rubin. The two team up to analyse the former's musical history, from the Beatles years to his solo career.And we zoom in on Florian Zeller's film "The Father", starring Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Coleman. The Oscar-winning film is shot from the perspective of an 80-year-old man suffering from dementia. Viewers get a glimpse into how the character is slowly losing his grip on reality.
