After spending over three weeks in quarantine and isolation in the Maldives and Australia, Pat Cummins, Steve Smith, David Warner and other Australians who were part of the IPL 2021 contingent were reunited with their families. The 38-people strong Australian contingent including cricketers coaches were in quarantine in Sydney since arriving on May 15 after the country lifted a travel ban.

Indian Premier League 2021 को स्थगित हुए करीब एक महीना होने वाला है और अब जाकर आखिरकार Australia Cricket Team अपने परिवार से मिल पाए हैं। IPL में हिस्सा लिए Cricketers को पहले 14 दिन Maldives में क्वारंटाइन होना पड़ा और फिर स्वदेश लौटने के बाद वहां भी दो सप्ताह के लिए क्वारंटाइन होना पड़ा। India में Covid-19 के बढ़ते मामलों को देखते हुए Australia ने 15 May को India से डायरेक्ट Flights बैन कर दी थीं।
