The Center has decided to give citizenship without CAA coming into force. On Friday, the Union Home Ministry has issued a notification in this regard and has sought applications for citizenship from non-Muslim refugees living in the country. This process will be under the citizenship law of 1955 as the new laws haven't been decided yet.
