Senior IPS officer of Maharashtra cadre Subodh Kumar Jaiswal took over the post of CBI Chief on Wednesday. Jaiswal has been appointed as CBI chief for two years of tenure. Jaiswal, a 1985 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Maharashtra cadre, was currently the director-general of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Subodh Kumar Jaiswal has also worked for the country's intelligence agency RAW. Watch this report.
