Due to the impact of the storm Yaas, some areas of Odisha and Bengal are receiving heavy rains. National Disaster Response Force informed that it has mandated deployment of the highest number of its 112 teams in Odisha and West Bengal as part of relief and rescue preparations given the impending severe cyclone Yaas. The NDRF DG told Aaj Tak that no significant damage has been caused by Cyclone Yaas. The storm did not turn as terrible as expected. Watch this report.
