Despite the passing of the "Holding Foreign Companies Accountable Act" and delisting Chinese companies on NASDAQ and NYSE, Chinese IPOs are still hitting the U.S. stock markets. And they might have found a way to bypass congressional scrutiny through SPAC. Special purpose acquisition company or SPAC is getting popular among Chinese companies raising capital in the US stock market. A few Chinese private equity firms: HONY capital, CITIC Capital, Hopu Capital and Primavera Capital all have SPAC listed on NASDAQ and NYSE.
