Erzincan is located in Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey. It is neighbor with Gümüşhane and Bayburt, Giresun, Sivas, Erzurum, Bingöl, Elazığ, Malatya and Tunceli. Erzincan is surrounded by mountains and has a continental climate.

History of Erzincan
