Anche per questo mi sono levato la mantellina nel finale per mostrare questa Maglia sul traguardo. Oggi volevo fare qualcosa di speciale per questo ho attacato sul Passo Giau. È stata una tappa dura, resa anche più difficile dal meteo ma ho avuto la mentalità giusta sin dall'inizio della tappa. Ero pronto a soffrire e adesso sono veramente contento di questo successo!".
