India reporting decline in active cases: Union Health Ministry

Union Health Ministry Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal on May 22 said that the country is witnessing a continuous decline in active Covid-19 cases and reporting an increase in recovered cases. He said that for the past nine days, the country is reporting an increase in recovered cases than active cases. The recovery rate of the country has also increased to 87.76 per cent. 2,30,00,000 people have recovered in the country from the virus, he said.
